Saila Rinne – « IA Act » How is Europe leading the race – Symposium Namur 2024
The keynote will present current initiatives of the European Commission to promote digital health technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare in the EU.
It will discuss the EU’s AI Act and its relevance for the healthcare sector. It will also present EU actions to foster an innovation-friendly environment for AI in healthcare through, for example, AI Factories and GenAI4EU Initiatives and the deployment of large-scale health data infrastructures under the Digital Europe Programme, to ensure availability of high-quality data for AI in a privacy-preserving manner.
